Hampshire & Isle of Wight LTA Awards - Warsash has 3 members nominated!

Hampshire & Isle of Wight LTA will be awarding County Awards to recognise individuals and organisations for their achievements during 2008. 

Warsash has three club Members nominated: Colin Murphy for best coach; Pauline Udal (nee Griffiths) best Press Officer; and Karen Downie for best volunteer.  So, lets show the Hampshire LTA that we really do value these club members by going and voting for them!

Warsash site shortlisted for the HantsWeb Awards

This site has been short-listed in the top ten for the "Best Sports Website" in the 2008 Hantsweb Awards. These prestigious Awards run by Hampshire County Council, reward the best websites and internet services in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. A list of all the short-listed sites and the associated categories can be found on the Hantsweb Awards website.

The finalists for each category will be chosen from the short-list and the finalists will be notified by the middle of October whereupon they will be invited to the Hantsweb awards ceremony which is being held during the morning of 4th November at the Planetarium at Intech just outside Winchester. All websites are being judged against standard good web practice criteria, confirming accessibility and ease of use by expert judges.

2007 Open Day

The Open Day, held on Sunday 20th May, was a great success with lots of membership enquiries, especially from juniors.  The weather was kind to us after the deluge last year.  The Wimbledon Ticket Draw was held at the end of the day and the successful entrants have been informed
